Plastic welding

The right process for your part.

We choose the process from your material, part shape, strength target and volume. All tooling is designed and made in-house.

Vibration welding machine joining an automotive manifold

Vibration welding

Friction from lateral vibration under pressure melts the joint faces.

  • Linear 120 / 240 Hz
  • Amplitude 0.7–1.8 mm
  • Weld pressure 0.5–10 MPa
  • Clamp force 1–50 kN

Used for

Intake manifolds · Fluid tanks · HVAC ducts · EV battery enclosures

Automation

Lines that assemble, test and inspect.

Systems designed for your product and integrated across assembly, inspection and material handling.

Assembly automation lines
Fully integrated lines that combine several operations, built on Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs with servo drives and HMIs.
Leak testing and inspection
Leak testing combined with vision, laser marking and barcode, QR or RFID traceability.
Vision inspection
2D and 3D vision from Cognex and Keyence for inspection, barcode reading and assembly guidance, with PLC pass or fail decisions.
Conveyors and material handling
Rotary systems, linear transfer lines and conveyors, with robot cells from YASKAWA, ABB, FANUC and KUKA.

Special purpose machines

Built around your part, proven before it ships.

Every machine is custom-built, validated with Cp/Cpk studies and run-at-rate testing, and accepted by you at our factory before delivery.

Custom machine design
A machine built around your part and process, from RFQ and concept through detail engineering, manufacturing, factory acceptance test (FAT) and on-site acceptance test (SAT).
Multi-station systems
Rotary and linear transfer systems that combine welding, assembly, leak testing, vision and marking in one machine.
Servo-driven mechanisms
Servo motors, ball screws and linear actuators, with SMC and Festo pneumatics.
PLC and HMI programming
Siemens S7-1200 / 1500, Mitsubishi and Delta PLCs with 7 to 15 inch touchscreens.
Safety-compliant designs
Category 3 and 4 safety controls designed to EN ISO 13849 and ISO 12100, with CE and UKCA marking.

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Requirement

You share the part, volume and quality targets, with drawings if you have them.

  2. 02

    Concept

We choose the process and propose a layout, cycle time and quotation.

  3. 03

    Detail engineering

Mechanical, electrical and controls design, and the tooling.

  4. 04

    Build and FAT

Manufacture and a factory acceptance test with you before dispatch.

  5. 05

    Commissioning

Installation, on-site acceptance test, training and handover.

  6. 06

    Support

Spares, service and remote diagnostics for the life of the machine.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which welding process is right for my part?+

It depends on the material, part shape, strength needed and volume. Large irregular parts suit vibration or hot plate welding, small precise parts suit ultrasonic, and round parts suit spin welding. Send us a drawing and we will recommend one.

How long does a custom machine take?+

Typically 12 to 20 weeks from design freeze to commissioning, depending on complexity.

Do you test the machine before delivery?+

Yes. Every special purpose machine goes through a factory acceptance test, followed by an on-site acceptance test at your plant.

Which controls and robots do you use?+

Siemens, Mitsubishi and Delta PLCs; Cognex and Keyence vision; and robot cells from YASKAWA, ABB, FANUC and KUKA.

Are your machines safety compliant?+

Yes. They are designed to EN ISO 13849 and ISO 12100 with Category 3 or 4 safety controls, and can carry CE and UKCA marking.
